The French manufacturer has introduced at the CES in Las Vegas a new flying drone from the form factor curious but certainly interesting. A real miniature airplane can guarantee up to 25 minutes of use.
The CES in Las Vegas in progress at this time is undoubtedly one of the most important showcases of the year for all companies related to the world of consumer electronics. Among these, we have manufacturers of all kinds of electronic devices, from household appliances to smartphones, from TV to the sensors for fitness, from home automation to be automotive, in short, so on and so forth.
Among the most active companies in the technology landscape are international Parrot, also obviously present at the event with some American news. The first, and perhaps the most interesting is for now only a prototype. Let’s talk about Parrot Disco, a flying drone decidedly different than the products offered so far by the French manufacturer.
It disappears from the form-factor to quadcopter to make room for a more aerodynamic wing design. In short, a sort of miniature airplane, equipped with two wings and a propeller at the back. All these features are a camera with optical stabilized on the front and, certainly interesting news, a battery that can provide up to 25 minutes of flight.
Still do not know what this Parrot Disco will be put into production, the video shown here shows a prototype of a phase of development already far advanced. The announcement of the first commercial version could not be that far away. We just have to wait for further news about it.
