Connection via an Ethernet cable
- Connect the PC to the PC using an Ethernet cable. If your PC does not have an Ethernet cable port, use a USB to Ethernet adapter.
- File sharing is active on the PC.
- Make sure that the option ” Internet Connection Firewall is disabled on your PC, if it is active, that the TCP port 445 is open to allow sharing connections, then recapping on the PC choose Go > Connection to Server, click on Browse or enter the PC network address in the ” Server address ” field.
Reconnect to a PC or a recently used server
Reconnecting to a PC or a previously used Server is really very simple and much more convenient, so at least when you need to reconnect your PC to your PC the procedure will be easier.
- Choose menu > Connect to Server, click on the rightmost popup menu of the ” Server Address ” field, then choose a recent server.
- Add shared PCs, network areas, to the Finder sidebar, select the item, then Choose File > Add to Sidebar or press Command + T.
- Add a PC or Server shared to the favorites list. Choose Go> Connect to Server, enter the Network address, then click the Add button (+).
