The iCloud is a data-management system that Apple has included in Macintosh machines since 2011, improving and simplifying the work of updating the data, sending and receiving files, online storage.
By creating an account for the iCloud service, we also very important to protect files from being inadvertently deleted and formatting, to easily find your saved items with a handy finder included in the operating system of Apple. In this guide, we will see how to manage the iCloud, in a few steps.
1.) If we want to sort the folders and files, we can search bar from iWork buttons for the types of files to look for: Keynote, Pages, Number. Gear-shaped icon, called Actions, we will have to choose a criterion to sort the files, for example, we can opt for Plan to date if we are an organization that shows the most recent items, or if you wish to Organize name to scroll the list alphabetical order. At this point, we can also rename files that have been stored in the cloud, as always choosing from the dock to the type of iWork files or folders and click on the name of each for you to type a new name.
2.) In case we need to duplicate the documents, we can always find them through iWork, holding down the Shift key on your keyboard and select multiple documents by clicking on it, just finished we will have to click on the Actions button, shaped like a gear, and select Duplicate; if the file is one, then we will have to select it by holding down the Ctrl key and Click Duplicate from the Actions. Once finished we decide to change its name (in order to distinguish the copy from the original) by clicking on the name, as you did in step 1 of this guide.
3.) To delete files from the iCloud service we will have to act again on iWork, choosing the type of files or folders by highlighting them and pressing and holding the Shift key to click on it, a fact we can select the Actions button and choose Delete document type. Otherwise, if it is a single file, we can delete it by clicking on it and holding down the Ctrl key, and then follow the procedure already described for most items.
