HP EliteBook 705 G5 Series and ProBook 645 G4: PRO Laptop with AMD CPU
The new HP laptops combine a list price accessible to good construction and AMD CPU. They are designed for today’s professionals, but can also meet the needs of the common user.
Not all laptops for professionals must be powerful workstations, and it is with this approach that HP has launched the new computers of the EliteBook 705 family and the ProBook 645 G4, designed for today’s professionals. All-new products use Windows 10 Pro and AMD Ryzen PRO Mobile processors, to offer good productivity and battery life.
The new laptops also make use of the HP Fast Charge technology, which allows you to recharge 50% of the battery in about 30 minutes, according to data declared by the manufacturer.
As for the EliteBooks, we have three new models: HP EliteBook 735 G5, HP EliteBook 745 G5 and HP EliteBook 755 G5, which do not miss the features essential for the world of work. There are USB Type-C and full-size USB 3.1 ports, an integrated Ethernet port, a combo audio jack, and SIM port.
Laptops use aluminum for the body and different choices regarding the integrated display: a traditional one, the other with a wider gamut (72% on 45%) and a higher maximum supported brightness (400 cd / m² instead of 220 cd / m²).

HP EliteBook 735 G5 uses 13.3″ diagonal panels with optional touchscreen, while the other models use 14″ and 15″ displays. With CPU selection, we find AMD Ryzen 3 2300U, Ryzen 5 2500U and Ryzen 7 2700U, all with integrated AMD Radeon Vega GPU.The choice of memories is identical: starting from 4 GB DDR4 on one module up to 32 GB DDR4 on two SODIMM modules, while for storage, we find only SSD solutions on the platform M.2, 128 GB SATA up to 512 GB on NVMe technology.
HP ProBook 645 G4 also uses AMD Ryzen PRO processors, in different possible configurations. It is compatible with several HP docking stations, purchased separately, and designed to pass MIL-STD 810G resistance tests. They are offered at a slightly lower price than EliteBook counterparts, with the new 14″ model that has a base price of $749 and a lower screen-frame ratio.
