HP introduces the new EliteOne 1000 G1, EliteBook x360 1020 G2 and EliteBook 1040 G4.
HP has introduced three new products for the corporate market: the new EliteOne 1000 G1, EliteBook x360 1020 G2 and EliteBook 1040 G4, all equipped with 7th generation Intel Core processors.
HP has announced news regarding its Elite line products: to flesh out the lines of the offer of the US manufacturer have been announced the new HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2, the HP EliteBook 1040 G4 and the new desktop all-in- one HP EliteOne 1000 G1.
The latter is a very unique all-in-one, as modular: all the hardware is contained within the base, while the monitor is replaceable. Three different options are currently available: a 23.8-inch panel with 1080p resolution, a 27-inch panel with Ultra HD resolution and a 34-inch curved panel with 1440p resolution (less defined of the 27-inch alternative).
Inside the base, there are Intel processors (Core i3, i5 or i7 of seventh generation), up to 32 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM and a complete range of ports that also includes USB Type-C. Particularly interesting from the business point of view is the ability to manage identical configurations with different screen sizes, so as to meet different needs while maintaining a certain standardization and keeping the overall dimensions reduced to a minimum.
The HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2 has a 12.5-inch screen with 1080p resolution or Ultra HD with brightness of 700 nit, can be equipped with Intel processors up to Core i7-7600U with vPro, up to 16 GB of DDR3-RAM memory 1866 and SSD with 360 GB of maximum capacity. The battery, which has a capacity of 49.28 Wh, should guarantee up to 15 and a half hours autonomously according to HP estimates. The salient feature of this device is, as per the tradition of the x360 series, that of being able to completely rotate the screen.
In contrast, the HP EliteBook 1040 G4 is a more traditional notebook model, but it also provides more processing power. Inside the chassis are placed processors up to Intel Core i7-7820HQ, 16 GB of RAM DDR4-2133, a solid-state drive PCIe Gen 3 up to 512 GB capacity and a wide variety of ports, including USB 3.1 (both ” classic ” and Type-C). An optional 4G module can also be installed.
The screen, which has a diagonal of 14 inches, can be equipped with a Full-HD panel with brightness of 700 nit or an Ultra HD panel, in both cases with the ability to make them responsive to touch. In case the protection from prying eyes of the information shown on the screen is a priority, the SureView panel has limited viewing angles.
Special feature of HP Elite solutions is the ability to use HP PhoneWise software that allows you to manage calls from your smartphone (Android or iOS) directly from the PC, allowing the user to use any existing equipment.
The HP EliteOne 1000 G1 is already on sale at $1,259 for the 23.8-inch variant and $1,499 for the 28-inch variant. The HP EliteBook 1040 G4 and HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2 will be available during the current month at $1,379. Prices are intended for basic models.
