Utilization and Conclusions
Within this Huawei P8 Lite, we find a processor of production of Huawei. It is a Hi-Silicon Kirin 620, that is, a SoC with 8 logical cores operating at 1.2 GHz frequency, accompanied by a GPU Mali 450 MP4. It is a solution which, flanked to 2 GB of RAM memory, is able to ensure the performance discrete, that more suited to operations that daily carry with smartphone. Even the management of multitasking is smooth and responsive. Actually, it is now difficult to find a device, also of medium / low, that it cannot meet our basic needs.
Excellent work done by Huawei regarding the management of active applications: cleaning system memory and resource monitoring, is the same that we find in P8 and it works very well indeed. The 2 GB of RAM reach saturation very rarely and also in this case a quantity of the same is automatically cleaned up in order to continue to use the smartphone without hitches or delays.
The operating system is a dowry, of course, Android in the latest version, or Lollipop. Sin from power, we realize as the Google OS has been reviewed and substantially modified with a proprietary interface, the EMUI, which makes the experience of using the most simple and intuitive.
We do not have the drawer, or the application menu, as instead we find on many other Android. Installed applications are accessed simply by a swipe to the left, a little as in iPhone: We once all the app icons on the boards of the home.
The whole graphic interface has been revised and redesigned icons and characters very sober and clean. There are many possibilities for customization and are the themes, pre-installed or downloaded from special store, allowing you to give an original touch to your smartphone without any effort.
The battery of this Huawei P8 Lite is certainly one of the most spacious to be found on board of a smartphone. We are facing a 2,200 mAh unit, sufficient to reach the end of a day of moderate use with a minimum of power remaining. In case you are thinking of using this smartphone for work or for days of heavy usage instead get yourself an external battery that allows you to charge the device outside the home.
And the price? The price is about $249 for both the white to the black. Recall that in both cases, the internal memory is 16 GB but you can expand through microSD memory cards.
