iPhone 8 Plus vs Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Here is the clash between the two ” titans ”
A famous YouTuber has decided to test the two top of the range of the moment: iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The clash has focused mainly on cameras but also on other aspects. The winner? Find out in the video.
The two smartphones of the moment are undoubtedly the new Apple iPhone 8 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Two devices characterized by a futuristic character with a very special design and absolutely premium materials in both cases.
On the one hand, the iPhone 8 Plus renewed by Apple just a few days ago with an appearance still similar to what we saw with the past iPhone 7 Plus but that sees the presence of the back completely in glass and a renewed hardware that allows to exceed in power any other device. On the other hand, a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that certainly has a cutting-edge style, especially with an ” infinity ” display that runs along the entire front without any interruption for sensors or front buttons.
Clearly, the two phones allow performance to make even a modern PC pale and not only because even the cameras seem to be affected by the latest innovations in this field introduced by smartphones that are increasingly chosen by professional photographers who often consider them more comfortable but also better than the classic SLR. Here the famous YouTuber SuperSaf TV has decided to compare the two devices trying to figure out which was the best and if there really was a winner between the two.
In this case, the comparison was made both from a purely photographic point of view and as regards recharging, and the aspects connected to it especially seen that in the new iPhone, Apple, has finally included also the induction one.
In the first video, you can see the photographic differences of the two devices: both remember that they mount a dual camera at the rear with the same concept of operation that is with a classic sensor and one in telephoto.
The result seems to benefit the Samsung Note 8 which maintains greater color rendering, especially in HDR even if the iPhone 8 Plus has an extra step in the shots with little light and the use of the LED Flash. It is also interesting to find out how the Note 8 possesses a front cam with a wider wide angle capable of making shots with a wider field width.
Looking now at the zoom side it seems that both smartphones work very well and practically at the same level in the enlargements. In this case if you want to look for the minimal difference you can see a better detail for the Note 8 compared to the iPhone 8 Plus especially thanks to the optical stabilization present only on the big and not on the telephoto lens for Apple’s smartphone unlike what instead happens on that of Samsung. On video excellent stabilization of the iPhone, as always, while the focus for the Note 8 is faster.
Finally, as mentioned, YouTuber has decided to compare the two top of the range also on the front of the fast charge that we know has been implemented for the first time by Apple also in the iPhone 8 Plus. The premise to do is that for which Apple offers to your audience a smartphone with fast charging that can be put into operation only by purchasing a more powerful power supply separately.
The thing for Note 8 is quite different, but it is already sold with a cable and a power supply for quick charging. The batteries in this case are very different with a 2,675 mAh for iPhone 8 Plus and a 3,3000 mAh for the Samsung Note 8. The results are those for which the Samsung phablet is recharged in 1 hour and 40 minutes while Apple’s iPhone 8 Plus in almost two hours.
