The Chinese manufacturer has presented at IFA in Berlin two new-product series to date with the latest news of Windows 10 and designed for both home users and for small businesses.
During the day on Tuesday in a pre-IFA event Lenovo announced some new products line-up of computer or portable. The ThinkPad family and will be available in models from 14 and 15.6-inch anti-glare film and can be customized according to different needs. It is aimed at consumers and employees of small companies with specifications designed ad-hoc.
The new ThinkPad notebooks and offer the possibility to integrate a sensor for fingerprint scanning, of course, thought to keep you safe (to a greater extent than a traditional password) computer data in case of theft or loss. Lenovo gives the possibility to choose processors from both Intel and AMD, with a range that can reach up to 9 hours continuously.
Power users will have the ability to choose configurations with discrete GPUs or up to a maximum of 16 GB of RAM, and to have SSD for data storage. In terms of connectivity, the handsets integrate three USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI and one Gigabit Ethernet, while the ThinkPad E560 will have a 3D webcam, based on technology Intel RealSense that can also be used for security purposes.
As for desktops, Lenovo announced the new S Series, also based on both Intel and AMD processors. The choice between models with display from 19.5, 21.5 and 23 inches, all full HD and with the additional option of multi-touch to take advantage of the new integrated Windows 10. The models will incorporate SSD and GPU discrete, while it is guaranteed the support of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
