Lenovo announced a new portable, Yoga 900, and a new all-in-one with built-in battery 27″, Yoga 900 Home.
Lenovo has announced two new families of systems with Windows 10 in an event in San Francisco. Yoga 900 and Yoga Home 900 households respectively are portable convertible and every-in-one portable with built-in battery, and both are designed and developed by referring to the new operating system from Microsoft. The presentation was also attended by some executives of the company of Redmond, including Joe Belfiore, corporate vice president of the division operating systems.
Billed as the thinnest convertible with Intel Core, Lenovo Yoga 900 is 14.9 mm thick and weighs about 1.3 kg. For the product Lenovo has chosen an LCD panel IPS 13.3-inch Quad HD resolution, equal to 3,200×1,800 pixels, supported on the floor hardware from Intel’s sixth-generation Core architecture Skylake.
The base model uses a Core i5-6200U, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD, whereas the top of the range incorporates an Intel Core i7-6500U, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB solid-state drive for storage some data.
Despite the high resolution of the display family Yoga 900, it is not provided in any case with a discrete solution for graphics. The base price of the family Yoga 900 is $ 1199, while the solution to the top of the range will need to spend $1,499.
The convertible family are sold in the US from October 19 in three colors, called Clementine Orange, Platinum Silver and Champagne Gold.
Alongside the two convertible, Lenovo announced Yoga Home 900, all-in-one with built-in battery and direct successor of Horizon PC. It is basically a huge tablet 7.5 kg Display 27″ Full HD that can be carried around, although with some difficulty, thanks to its built-in battery that allows the card three hours of autonomy.
But Lenovo Yoga Home 900 is of course primarily a desktop all-in-one, with all the advantages of his competence when placed on a desk with mouse and keyboard connected.
Lenovo Yoga Home 900 uses fifth generation of Intel Core processors, with the base model that integrates a Core i5-5200U, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Optionally, the user can also choose a discrete GPU, specifically the model NVIDIA GeForce 940A. The product is expected by the end of October in the United States, according to the list price of $ 1,549.
