Lenovo Yoga 900 is a sophisticated system with great features, which go far beyond the normal laptop. Already at first glance it seems an understatement to call it ” portable ” because it is already looking at the junction between the keyboard, and the display understands to be faced with something different.
Founded in 2012, the family Lenovo Yoga stands for the four operating modes or laptop, booth, tent and tablets, exploitable thanks to ah hoc technologies, such as the disabling of the buttons to avoid unwanted pressures.
The weight is only 1.29 Kg and limited thickness 14.9 mm, features that make Lenovo Yoga 900 the ideal companion for the professional always on the move. The already mentioned seam (which can be orange, gold or silver) is constituted by well 813 components, which ensure extremely smooth transactions between the various operation modes and with a constant voltage.
Technology Auto Lock hinge is designed to be able to easily open and close the laptop also with one hand, but at the same time ensure the angle is held in various configurations. To match the paint of the laptop, the hinge is available in three colors: orange, gold and silver.
The special feature of this model do not end here: to be mentioned is also the cooling fan metal alloy, about 30% bigger but with a lower density than plastic ones: It is thereby ensured good ventilation, as well as the possibility of maintaining very reduced thickness. The processors used to belong to the Intel Core i5 or i7 family, depending on the model, while the autonomy declared reaches 10 hours.
A point of reliable force is the display that is common to all models: IPS technology, 13.3-inch diagonal, 3,200 x 1,800 pixels resolution and of course multitouch functionality. The amount of RAM can be 4 or 8GB LPDDR3 (up to 16GB for special configurations), while on the front, there is a good SSD 256GB PCIe SSD high performance (up to 1TB for certain versions in the retail channel and at some Business Partners Lenovo).
The Lenovo Yoga 900 models are equipped with two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.0 Type-C video output, a DC input with USB 2.0 capabilities, card reader 4 in 1 and combined audio jacks (headphone and microphone), while for as for wireless connectivity are Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11 a/c 2×2.
There are also a webcam HD 720p at 30fps and speakers from JBL 1.5W quality. The operating system is Microsoft Windows 10 Home version, but there is also a range marked by the initials BE, Business Edition, which is aimed purely at professionals adopting the Pro version.
