Logitech MX Ergo: a new trackball mouse after 7 years
Logitech, after 7 years of silence in this sector, presents its new MX Ergo: the successor of the last trackball produced the M570, released in 2010, certainly has the cards in order to become another reference point of this type of peripherals.
Good news for all the supporters of the trackball, one of the peripherals that with its large free sphere to rotate in every direction, calls into question the operation of the classic dragging mouse used in conjunction with the vast majority of systems. Yet in certain areas of work or for personal tastes, usually those accustomed to the daily use of a trackball mouse would have difficulty returning to the ” traditional ” one.

Navigation, of course, occurs through the trackball with a glossy finish, which includes a button dedicated to reducing tracking sensitivity, in order to increase its accuracy when you need to make small movements. Equipped with a magnetic base, combined with a metal surface, it guarantees the user to work even with an inclination of the device up to an angle of 20°.
As for connectivity, Logitech MX Ergo can work either via Bluetooth technology or, in combination with the Unifying receiver, via wireless 2.4 GHz: in both cases, coverage is guaranteed up to 10 m away from the receiver, also present a connector micro USB in the front to recharge even during normal operation.
The dimensions of this mouse do not go unnoticed, 132.5×51.4×99.8 mm for a weight of about 259 g, for the technical equipment we find instead a 380 dpi sensor, 8 buttons in total and a 500 mAh Li-Po battery which guarantees a usage time of up to 4 months with only one complete recharge.
Compatible with both Windows 7 and later, MacOS 10.12 and later, the Logitech MX Ergo is already available on market at a price of $99.99.
