Find My is also integrated on the Mac, for the first time, and allows you to monitor all devices connected to the account, even if they are offline. As on iPhone and iPad, Macs gain Screen Time mode, with which you can monitor the use of all connected devices.
With macOS Catalina also gives the go-ahead to Project Catalyst, a new initiative from Apple that aims to allow developers to port iPad apps even on Mac, in an obviously simplified manner.
Photo earns a new interface with the best photos organized by day, month or year, while on Safari, there is a new start page and on Mail, there are new tools to silence conversations, block some contacts, while the Promemoria app, It has been revolutionized to better support the new features of iOS 13.
The update introduces new security features, with Gatekeeper checking all installed apps looking for security problems, while Apple Arcade is also introduced, the new subscription-based gaming service also presented on iOS and Apple TV.
