Apple presented the new Mac software during the WWDC, it’s MacOS Catalina; macOS 10.15 brings more speed and integration with the iPad which will no longer be classified as a possible substitute but as a faithful companion of the MacBook. The new OS also brings a new redesign of iTunes, now it is divided into individual apps: Music, Podcasts and TV, which will be able to offer support for 4K HDR videos on Mac.
Apple has integrated into MacOS a new accessibility feature called ” Voice Control “, which allows users to control the entire operating system using voice commands. You will be able to edit the text, open apps and files, scroll through the interface, select items, share photos and much more. The company will use device processing to offer advanced navigation and dictation functionality.
The biggest news of macOS 10.15 is the addition of the iPad app; the project is called Catalyst and is a new way for developers to transfer their iPad apps to the Mac using Xcode. This will encourage developers to bring their iPad apps to the Mac, one will be Twitter already working on porting.
Apple has also introduced the new Sidecar feature that allows the iPad to be used as a second display for the Mac, removing the various possibilities of third parties that previously gave the possibility to use it as such. iPad can be used as an extended display for Mac and high-precision drawing tablets on all supported Mac apps, and you can also use the Apple Pencil to draw or write.

Gatekeeper will also be integrated, which checks all the apps for known security problems, requesting permission from all apps before accessing user documents.
On MacOS Catalina, the Screen Time will also be integrated, this offers users information on how they spend their time in apps, on websites and will give the possibility to limit the time on some software.
Users will be able to schedule time away from their Mac and determine the time they want to spend in apps, websites or app categories. With iCloud, users can synchronize screen settings and combine their use on iPhone, iPad and Mac in private through end-to-end encryption.
Additional improvements have also been made to some apps like Photos, Safari, Mail, Notes and Reminders.

Reminders have been redesigned with a completely new user interface that simplifies the creation, organization and monitoring of reminders and Notes now has a view of the gallery, more powerful search tools and additional collaboration options.
