Motorola P30 is a cheap iPhone X clone
The new mid-range Motorola is currently only available for the Asian market, and boasts a certain similarity with the top of Apple range.
Motorola has managed to get great visibility last week thanks to the new Motorola P30, not so much for the quality of the terminal but especially for the suspected similarity with iPhone X. The terminal is very similar to the top of Apple range, indeed substantially identical if do not focus on some details and consider mainly the black and white variants.
Motorola P30 adopts a 6.2-inch display, then slightly larger than that of the iPhone X, with notch particularly similar to that of the iPhone as a shape and extension. The corners are rounded and, unlike the iPhone X, at the bottom, there is a small frame, and the rear part is particularly suspect, in which there is a vertical orientation photo module with a built-in LED flash, and in the middle, instead of the Apple, we find a fingerprint sensor marked with Motorola’s M.
The smartphone is offered in both traditional white and black versions, and in a version with a colorful gradient of colors that closely resembles that of Huawei P20. Quite suspect also the choice of wallpaper used in official photos disclosed by the company: even in this case there is indeed a certain similarity with those chosen by Apple for its flagship. Motorola P30 belongs to the mid-range, and was only announced for the Chinese market. There is no information regarding a possible release even in western markets.
Under the body, we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with 6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage, all powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. The two rear cameras are 16 and 5 MP, while the front one uses a 12 MP sensor.
Despite the large front notch, there is no authentication system based on face recognition, while the native display resolution is a Full HD with an aspect ratio of 18.7: 9 (2,246 x 1,080 pixels). All at a price starting from 2099 Yuan in the Chinese market.
