MSI Prestige PE62 and PL62: Laptop with GPU dedicated for students and professionals
The company has announced the availability of two new notebooks for students and professionals, characterized by seventh generation Intel processors and NVIDIA graphics cards.
MSI has announced the new models PE62 and PL62, the two new proposals of the Prestige line designed to ensure high performance in the areas of productivity and study, without disdaining gaming sessions without too many frills.
Laptops are based on Intel’s seventh generation CPU technologies, and NVIDIA graphics, to create solutions that are not only performance-oriented, but also versatile in terms of potential uses.
MSI Prestige PE62
MSI Prestige PE62 is based on the Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, assisted by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti GPU with 4 GB of dedicated GDDR5 RAM. It uses a 15.6 ” panel at full HD resolution with a 170° viewing angle and 94% of the NTSC color gamut.
The storage space is based on a NVMe SSD, while the temperature is managed by the MSI Cooler Boost 4 system. The keyboard of the notebook is made in collaboration with SteelSeries and is backlit to ensure the possibility of use even in the dark and at night.
The laptop uses Nahimic’s high-definition audio technology, with proprietary Audio Boost Design algorithms to improve sound performance. To complete the technical equipment of the handset, we find the Matrix Display technology to use other 4K monitors through the Mini DisplayPort interfaces and the reversible USB Type-C 3.0 port. MSI Prestige PL62
The new Prestige PL62 also uses the Intel Core i7-7700HQ and Windows 10 in a 64-bit Home version. Instead, it changes the integrated GPU, which is a GeForce MX150 with 2 GB of dedicated GDDR5 RAM.
In this case, it is aimed at those who do not need a high computational power on the gaming side, but at the same time for those who do not mind performing photo editing or video editing using the hardware acceleration features via GPU. The panel is also in this case 15.6 ” in Full HD resolution with 170° viewing angle and 94% NTSC gamut.
The specifications relating to the audio and support of the Matrix Display technology remain the same, while on the front of the audio, we find the Nahimic 2 technology able to offer sound experiences in Virtual Surround 7.1. For more information, please refer to this address.
