A very special product, Acer Aspire Z3-700: looks like a large tablet, but it is an all-in-one with a battery to be used away from a power outlet. It weighs only 2 kg and is designed to use distinctly infotainment.
Acer unveiled Aspire Z3-700 classifying it as All-in-one, although the definition should be a bit tight. We try to explain better: in common parlance an All-in-one is the heir of the desktop PC and is made going to equip all the components behind the monitor. Think of the Apple iMac or similar solutions from many manufacturers, usually with a display of generous size.
Acer Aspire Z3-700 is a bit this and a little large tablet, depends on how you choose to use it. We start from the display: the measures speak of 17.3 inches diagonally, IPS technology and resolution 1,920×1,080 pixels (10 contact points and stylus), but everything is included in a chassis with a thickness of only 15.6 mm and weight of 2kg. In addition, there is an internal battery that allows it to run the device for about 5 hours away from a power outlet.
Another highlight is the presence of the USB Type-C, flanked by two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, 3.5mm audio inputs and outputs and card reader.
Two special supports on the back allows to use it both vertically like a normal PC combined with keyboard and mouse, is completely flat like a big tablet. Nature ” infotainment ” declared by Acer goes to justify the adoption of Intel Pentium or Celeron (and the Core), while on the memory configuration includes amounts up to 8 GB; primary storage, depending on the model, will be entrusted to traditional disk or SSD depending on configurations.
While choosing to equip Acer Aspire Z3-700 processors ” cheap ” can be viewed with suspicion by fans, it remembers that most home users with these configurations is already satisfactory user experience.
