New Acer Nitro 7 and Acer Nitro 5: Gaming Latops
The Acer Nitro range is also renewed, laptops solutions for the gaming media and design segment that can capture the interest of non-players as well. So here are the Nitro 7 and Nitro 5 models, but there is also the Nitro Stream mini PC, to capture game scenes and broadcast them live without affecting the performance of the system on which you play.
Acer has announced the new Nitro 7 and Nitro 5 gaming laptops, which despite not boasting the top performance of the Predator models, are able to give satisfaction to the casual gamer but also to the slightly more demanding one.
Acer Nitro 7 is, according to the company, aimed at casual players looking for design and performance. Let’s open a small parenthesis on the subject: often gaming notebooks boast a very whimsical and ” bold ” design, especially the high-end ones.
However, there are series of gaming notebooks which, although they immediately declared themselves as such thanks to non-standard colors and some aesthetic variations, can be pleasant and appreciated even by the whole world of non-gamers. The Acer Nitro models fall into this typology, so after this premise we go on to describe them, for what we know so far.
We were talking about Nitro 7: definitely worth mentioning is the metal chassis with a thickness of only 19.9 mm and the adoption of a 15.6-inch Full HD 1920×0180 pixel display, 144Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time and G-SYNC compatible.
The processors are Intel Core ninth generation, while the graphics department is covered by the latest NVIDIA GPU. Then there are two compartments for M.2 Gen 3×4 PCIe SSD with NVMe technology in RAID, up to 32GB of adoptable DDR4 RAM and a maximum of 2TB on HDD.
Acer Nitro 5 boasts a 17.3-inch 1920×1080 pixel IPS Full HD display with ultra-thin frames or a second screen option, 15.6 inches, with an 80% screen-to-body ratio. The Nitro 5 configuration combines ninth generation Intel Core processors, the latest NVIDIA GPUs, two M.2 Gen 3 x4 PCIe SSDs with NVMe technology in RAID, and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Both Nitro 7 and Nitro 5 feature a two-fan cooling system with Acer CoolBoost technology, as well as two ventilation grids designed to keep temperatures under control even during extended gaming sessions.
Acer Nitro Stream is a mini PC dedicated to streaming (Personal Streaming PC). It offers the possibility of transmitting the gameplay of a PC or a console in Full HD format without the need for complicated configurations and without performance loss to the detriment of the system on which you are playing.
Thanks to the integrated hardware and the specially designed software, it is possible to play up to 4K 60fps resolutions and simultaneously stream in 1080p via the Pass-Through function of the capture card.
Configurable with an eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor, it supports up to 32Gb of memory and 256GB SSD. With the integrated acquisition card, it is possible to record and transmit high-quality content without delays between those who play and those who follow the streaming. The streamer can also opt to mount it behind the monitor, thanks to its small size and VESA attachment.
For now, no information on the availability and prices of the new Acer Nitro laptops.
