New Inspiron, XPS, Alienware, G3 and other from Dell

The new version of the Inspiron 15 7000 line brought by Dell to Computex confirms the strengths of the brand, which is a very thin chassis at an affordable price and with important upgrade options for storage. Despite these prerogatives, Dell does not renounce to performance and indeed with the new version it adopts the Intel Core ninth generation H series processors and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU.

The handset integrates the possibility of accepting a double SSD. Particular attention was also paid to the cooling system based on a double heatpipe in order to guarantee the necessary ventilation without compromising the dimensions.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000

The 7000 line is also available in the 2-in-1 version, in two different form factors, 13 and 15 inches. In this case, the peculiarity is the Active Pen nib which is conveniently kept inside the body next to the hinges of the central unit.

The latter, which refers to a patent filed by Dell, is always easily accessible beyond the way the Inspiron is set up. The adaptive thermal technology of this handset is then designed to improve user comfort beyond how the device is used and to optimize performance.

Dell Inspiron 11 3000

Vostro 15 7000 is equipped with Intel Core H series 6-core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU with expandability options for storage solutions up to three units. Furthermore, the keyboard of this handset includes the numeric keypad.

We are talking about a device that is only 17.95 mm thick with a brushed aluminum finish, and a FHD Display surrounded by very thin frames. The 97 WHr battery guarantees the practitioner nearly 14 hours of use with a Smart Thermal type solution that guarantees adequate thermal compromise based on how it is used.

The hinge system has been redesigned to lift the laptop above the surface when it is open over 135 degrees, allowing better air circulation and a more comfortable typing experience. Also in this case we have support for Waves technology, in combination with a 2.7-mm widescreen webcam and HD. Furthermore, the SmartByte software gives priority to videoconferencing applications.

Dell Vostro 13 5000

Vostro 13 5000 is instead promoted as ” your thinnest and lightest ever ” and is equipped with a video camera and microphone designed to ensure the best possible video conferencing experience. The chassis is very thin and made of aluminum and fiberglass with a diamond finish around the touchpad. Dell offers a suite of easy security features that are immediately effective for any type of professional.

Dell Precision 5540

Speaking of Precision, instead, it comes to the workstations. Dell Precision 5540 is one of the smallest mobile workstations thanks to the latest technologies made available by Intel and NVIDIA. This is a workstation with a 14-inch screen chassis equipped with an InfinityEdge display that would normally be installed in a 15.6-inch screen chassis.

The workstation is equipped with Intel Core ninth generation or Intel Xeon 8-core processor and professional graphics solution up to NVIDIA Quadro T2000 with 4 GB of on-board memory. More powerful is the Dell Precision 7540 version, with a 15-inch screen and VR-ready hardware. This version is more powerful thanks to the memory speed of up to 3200 MHz. Up to 128 GB of ECC memory can be installed at 2666 MHz.

Dell G3 15

Let’s move on to gaming with the G3 line, now updated with the ninth generation Intel processors and the GeForce GTX 16xx series GPU. These solutions are very elegant to look at, with finishes that recall the idea of modernity. GameShift allows you to switch from normal operation mode to optimized 3D rendering mode, maximizing the calculation potential of the system.

Alienware m15 and Alienware m17

The Alienware m15 and Alienware m17 instead mark the debut of the Legend design within an Alienware device. They are also among the first laptops with new-generation hardware, namely Intel Core ninth generation and GeForce GTX 16xx which, at the user’s discretion, can also be RTX 2070 or 2080. All together with an OLED screen that meets the newer player needs, with 144 Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, HDR400 support and 4K resolution.

This display also includes EyeSave technology. The new panels bring with them the risk that the amount of blue light displayed by the displays is very consistent, so the technology reduces the emission of blue light so as not to damage the player’s eye.

The 144 Hz panel version also supports the Tobii Eye technology for eye tracking. We also have Audio tuning that automatically modifies the sound balance based on the game and new features for CPU and GPU overclocking.

Composed of very efficient copper heatpipes, the device’s cooling system is very special, because it requires it to be inserted in a particularly light chassis. Cryo-Tech Cooling 3.0 guarantees greater airflow and thermal efficiency necessary to maintain a high level of performance without sacrificing compact dimensions.

The weight of the device is 2.65 kg with dimensions equal to 20.5 mm. x 295.5 mm. x 399.8 mm. The lithium-ion battery is 76Wh. These Alienware laptops also make use of the new version of the Command Center, which allows you to manage various types of settings with specific profiles already prepared for various games. They are also characterized by a completely revised slim and light design with RGB backlighting.

Gaming Headset 7.1 (AW510H) and Stereo (AW310H)

Among the new products, we also find the Gaming Headset 7.1 (AW510H) and Stereo (AW310H), which seek to combine an aggressive design with durable materials. Version 7.1 offers positional audio in order to increase the player’s immersion in the game experience, while the retractable microphone is able to offer, according to promises, conversations with crystal clear sound quality. Dell XPS 15

Dell XPS 15 equips the same OLED screen described in the case of Alienware m15 and m17 with 100% Adobe RGB color space coverage. It is a small laptop with a 15.6-inch screen, and a small web-cam mounted on the upper frame.

Also in this case the user can choose up to the ninth-generation Intel Core CPU with 8 cores and GeForce GTX 1650. Through the SSD storage solutions via PCI Express, a maximum storage capacity of 2 TB can be obtained while the battery is in able to hold up to almost 21 hours of video viewing.

Dell XPS 13

This model will also be available in 2-in-1 format. Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 is a product that Dell has been working on for a long time with the goal of raising the bar for products in the category. First, it will mount the newly introduced Intel Core 10th generation processors. To be precise: Intel Core i3 1005 G1 (8MB cache, up to 3.4GHz), Intel Quad Core i5 1035 G1 (6MB cache, up to 3.7GHz) and Intel Quad Core i7 1065 G7 (4MB cache, up to 3.9GHz).

It also presents a new thinner and lighter industrial design compared to the previous generation, with more visible area for the screen and very thin frames. The resolution is 4K UHD, with an impeccable view at any viewing angle within the 16:10 aspect ratio. Also in this case we find a very small frontal camera of 2.25 mm, while the media card reader completes an already rich set.

The keyboard uses second generation MagLev magnetic levitation technology, which is quieter and more comfortable than the previous one. This type of technology, in addition to allowing an ” edge-to-edge ” keyboard, allows Dell to increase the size of the touchpad by 19% and the display by 7%.
