New Microsoft Office: Now you can install on an unlimited number of devices

Microsoft has presented the news for Office 365 subscriptions that allow users, whether freelancers, students or families, to better express their potential, both in their working life and in their free time.

The new release will allow users to install Office on an unlimited number of devices, to offer the best productivity in any context of use: in the office, at home, on the road or in free time to plan their activities.

Previously, Office 365 Home and Personal subscriptions had some restrictions on the maximum number of devices on which the suite could be installed: for example: Office 365 Home limited to 10 the number of devices (for five users), while Office 365 Personal provided the installation on a single PC or Mac and a tablet. Now, users can install Office on an unlimited number of devices and log in with their account on up to five devices simultaneously.

The innovations decided by Microsoft are further supported by the results of a Doxa survey, which shows that 74% of employees use the Office package on their personal PC to complete their tasks. The survey also shows that the current use of the Office 365 package is based on the concept of sharing: in 8 cases out of 10 (83%) the suite is used by at least one other member of the family unit.

Thanks to the extension from 5 to 6 of the number of licenses available for the Home subscription, Office is able to best represent the ” home ” and ” family ” dimension, allowing everyone to save, consult and modify their files from the personal account and access it from any device. For $99 a year.

It will be possible to obtain six licenses for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote, as well as a 1TB space on OneDrive for each account, along with other services and applications.

The Doxa survey then highlights how the details of the Office package are, in reality, little known: only 52% of users are aware of the availability of 1 TB of Cloud space for each user, and a third of the users do not know they can use the same account on multiple devices (34%).

Among the new features is the ability to manage your Office 365 subscription directly from the Microsoft Account portal, which also allows you to easily administer all your Microsoft subscriptions and redeem Microsoft Rewards.

The new release of Microsoft Office also integrates a series of innovations regarding the operational functions, such as 3D animation and Morphing for PowerPoint, a new Word Search Tool, Windows Ink on Office (to use the pen to work better in mobility) and the presentation translator for PowerPoint.
