Intel extends its range of processors Skylake family with 13 models entering the official price list, going to cover with their own prices different cost segments of the laptops market.
Intel has updated a few days ago its official price list of the processors, proposing some new specific versions for laptop systems. Speaking of the first included the debut of Celeron CPUs based on Skylake architecture, with the two following models:
- Celeron G3920: 2 cores, 2 threads, 2.9 GHz, cache 2M; price of $52
- Celeron G3900: 2 cores, 2 threads, 2.8 GHz, cache 2M; price of $42
Do not miss then a new version of Pentium relies on consumption, always based on production technology to 14 nanometers and architecture Skylake: This is the Pentium J3710 model, characterized by clock up to 2.64 GHz up to 4 cores (4 threads maximum) with 2 Mbytes of cache and combined with the official list amounted to $161.
Other novelties for proposals low-power Celeron are represented by these models.
- Celeron J3160: 4 cores, 4 threads, clocked up to 2.24 GHz, cache 2M; priced at $107
- Celeron J3060: 4 cores, 4 threads, clocked up to 2.48 GHz, cache 2M; priced at $107
- Celeron G3900T: 2 cores, 2 threads, 2.6 GHz, cache 2M; price of $42
Also very interesting 3 Core i7 family of processors intended for the mobile systems, characterized by the presence of 4 cores in combination with HyperThreading technology proposed for the higher power laptop.
- Core i7 6970HQ: 4 cores, 8 threads, 2.8 GHz, 8M cache; price of $623
- Core i7 6870HQ: 4 cores, 8 threads, 2.7 GHz, 8M cache; price of $434
- Core i7 6770HQ: 4 cores, 8 threads, 2.6 GHz, 6M cache; price of $378
- Core i5 6350HQ: 4 cores, 4 threads, 2.3 GHz, 6M cache; priced at $306
A close include the debut of the new Intel Ultra Low Voltage family, characterized by lower consumption, belonging to the family Pentium and Celeron.
- Pentium N3710: 4 cores, 4 threads, clocked 2.56 GHz, cache 2M; price of $161
- Celeron N3160: 4 cores, 4 threads, clocked 2.24 GHz, cache 2M; price of $107
- Celeron N3060: 2 cores, 2 threads, clocked 2.48GHz, 2M cache; price of $107
Intel range is then officially extended, leading to greater availability of models characterized by the use of architecture Skylake-based production process to 14 nanometers. Laptops based on this CPU are expected on the market in the coming weeks.
