Pentax introduces the XG-1 bridge with 52x lens
Today Pentax introduced the new bridge XG-1, a camera designed to capture any situation thanks to its powerful zoom lens. The style reminiscent of the SLR of the brand, even if the size a bit ‘more compact to be more portable. The backlit CMOS sensor is a 1/2.3″ with a full 16MP resolution and a sensitivity ranging from ISO 100 to 3,200. The highlight is certainly capable optical zoom of 52 magnifications, covering from wide-angle to super telephoto.
Files 35mm becomes equivalent to a 24-1248mm with brightness f/2.8 to 5.6. Combining the digital zoom also reaches 4992 mm, although of course, the image quality decays.
