Raidmax presents a case that is part of the open-air segment, ie cases far from the concept of ” box ” but closer to simple bare frames with modern minimal shapes: precisely the US manufacturer has announced the X08.
A Raidmax X08 mid-tower with dimensions equal to 24 x 10.2 x 8.2 inches realized with both side panels in tempered glass and a series of laser-cut aluminum structures that constitute various support surfaces for all system components.
Designed to accommodate only ATX motherboards, it provides enough space for 7 expansion slots, video cards with a length of up to 40 cm and heat sinks for processors up to 15 cm high; no real slots dedicated to 2.5″ and 3.5″ storage units have been received, along the various panels of the frame, there are some fixing points able to accommodate SSD units.
Little space dedicated also for the cooling systems, actually not so necessary as it is an open-air case: we find space for three 120 mm fans, all of which are to be installed on the large upper panel, alternatively a single radiator with a maximum equal size 360×120 mm.
Minimal also the Raidmax X08 front panel, on which we find just a pair of USB 3.0 ports, audio connectors and LEDs and system buttons.
- Laser cut for the most precise frame.
- Aluminum-alloy exoskeleton to make for an ultra-sturdy build with style.
