The Koreans have unveiled two monitors to 4K resolution with support for technologies AMD FreeSync to synchronize the refresh rate to the refresh rate of the images of the GPU.
Samsung announces a new series of monitors with full support to technology AMD FreeSync. Samsung U24E590D and Samsung U28E590D monitor are respectively 23.6″ and 28 “, both in 4K Ultra HD ( 3,840 x 2,160 pixels) but with significantly different technical specifications. They are the first Samsung models that combine a high resolution so the elimination technology stuttering and tearing of AMD.
The objective of FreeSync is to eliminate the imperfections of the images due to differences in refresh rate between the monitors and GPU without presenting the latencies typical of V-Sync. All this while at the same time to play the single frame as quickly as possible once it is rendered by the GPU.
Both monitors are naturally designed for the gamer, but at the same time have different features that not every gamer could digest. Samsung U24E590D fact uses a PLS panel that, in the face of viewing angles more accentuated, entails a response time slower than the technologies Tn preferred by players.
