Samsung Galaxy S10: Technical specifications, versions and news

Samsung is still the world’s first smartphone sales. It will be the progenitor of the series: the new Samsung Galaxy S10+ will not only have the best technical features compared to other versions but will also be the largest dimensionally and probably even the one with the largest number of cameras.

First of all, the device will reflect a design ready to take the foundations of the past of Samsung, especially as it was done with the current Galaxy S9, making it more extreme in terms of thickness, curves and ergonomics.

The new Samsung Galaxy S10+ will introduce for the first time a design called Infinity-O or a front panel with a small hole in the upper-right corner not able to introduce any notch but to place one or more cameras in the front reducing the frames to the maximum with an increase in the screen-to-body ratio over 90%.

This ” Plus ” version will be characterized primarily by the presence in the front of a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 19:9 form factor with a Quad HD resolution of 3,040×1,440 pixels. It will be a panel able to support HDR+ and will also have resistance to scratches and bumps thanks to Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

Important news in this new generation of Galaxy will be the presence of a fingerprint sensor below the display. Integrated ultrasonic sensor capable of unlocking the phone by simply placing your finger on the screen. A solution adopted by some manufacturers for some time and that even Samsung has decided to integrate, it seems, only in the two Plus and normal version.

On an aesthetic level, the device will have, in addition to the classic solid colors, also some particular versions with gradients or chromatic shades that in recent months also other manufacturers have integrated into their smartphones. In terms of materials, on the other hand, the device will have an aluminum frame, at least in the frame part, while on the back, there will be glass.

Samsung Galaxy S10e

The smallest of the family will be called Galaxy S10e and will have some technical limitations such as the presence of a 5.8-inch display without any curvature on the sides. In this case from the rumors, the panel resolution should be Full HD+ with 1,080 x 2,280 pixels and a form factor 19: 9 always with Dynamic AMOLED HDR+ panel.
