The American division of Samsung has today announced two new tablets coming to market local. We talk about the new Galaxy Tab A, parallel to the new series of Galaxy A, that blend technical characteristics not too sought to careful design and premium materials. At first glance the list price seems exaggerated compared to many other products (also of the same Samsung), and especially in relation to the technical characteristics.
We refer to the supported video resolution of only 1,024 x 768 pixels within the two PLS LCD display from 8.0 and 9.7″, both with aspect-ratio of 4: 3. Under the shell delivers Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, with four core Cortex-A53 1.2 GHz and a GPU Adreno 306. The integrated hardware is supported by 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 or 32 GB of storage expandable via microSDXC. Batteries are from 4,200 and 6,000 mAh and Android 5.0 Lollipop is installed natively.
All offered at prices of $229 and $299 respectively for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0″ and Galaxy Tab A 9.7″, with the latest variant also available with S-Pen to a list price of $349. Prices mainly due to the metallic finishes chosen for the rear bodywork, with the new Galaxy Tab, to represent the new course for the category of Samsung tablet more careful users more demanding in terms of design and why not, more inclined to generate profits from the sale of its products.
