Samsung Galaxy Tab S6: Snapdragon 855, Super AMOLED and S Pen
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is finally official and has a top-of-the-range over technical card ready to face the difficult market monopolized by Apple’s iPad. Here are all its technical specifications.
Samsung officially presents the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 that should not be confused with the updated version of the Galaxy Tab S5e presented a few months ago, but as the new generation of the Galaxy Tab S4 that the company had made official a year ago now.
An evolution that passes through the technical specifications that are now of the highest hardware level but also for the design with an important reduction of the frames, a body made entirely of aluminum and an original magnetic housing in the back for the S Pen, a valuable accessory of this new tablet.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6: The technical specifications
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 immediately amazes for its decidedly premium appearance. An important device in terms of size since we are talking about a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display in WQXGA resolution, or 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. As mentioned at the design level, Samsung decides to continue on the line taken with the Galaxy Tab S5e – a cheaper and fewer performing model – proposing a completely aluminum body, thus abandoning the glass that it instead inserted in the old Tab S4.
Thin and highly ergonomic, the new Tab S6 from Samsung, sees from its presence a first class hardware compartment with the most powerful processor of the moment ie the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which is associated with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and a storage internal equal to 128GB or 256GB expandable with a MicroSD up to 1TB.
Interesting in this case the presence of a double camera at the rear for shooting and shooting. Samsung does not skimp from this point of view and poses, as an absolute novelty in a tablet of the company, a double 13MP sensor with a f/1.9 focal length lens, which is joined by a 5MP depth sensor for the now known effect Bokeh that Samsung calls ” Live Focus “. Previously, instead, there is an 8MP sensor for video calls or even some selfies.

As for security, there is no problem for users since the new Tab S6 from Samsung has for the first time on a tablet a sensor below the display that allows you to unlock the device in total safety and above all with speed and ease.
At the software level, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 clearly has the latest version of Android 9.0 Pie that we know is customized by Samsung with its One UI. In this case, many features that the user can use especially considering the presence of an S Pen that the company offers to users, and that will guarantee the possibility of drawing on the tablet as if it were done on a sheet of paper.
Furthermore, the hollow in the bodywork that allows you to position the S Pen when it is not being used by the user thanks to a magnetic coupling is particularly noticeable at the rear.
The S Pen now has a Super Battery that is a battery capable of allowing use for over 10 hours with a recharge of just 10 minutes. Not only because the only new gestures that can be realized with the Samsung interface are new. Connection via Bluetooth that allows to use the S Pen also for presentations or even to take selfies at a distance.
Thanks to a dedicated cover with keyboard, touch pad and back panel to keep the device in the right position for writing. The cover allows to have the immediate use of DeX ready to make the user use a graphical interface closer to the PC and even more productive than before.
