Samsung PRO Endurance, memory cards designed for intense video writing
A new line of Samsung memory cards is born which, under the name of PRO Endurance, intends to satisfy the needs of very intense writing. An example comes from video shooting, also in terms of video surveillance but not only.
Samsung, for years, is a leader in the production and marketing of memory cards and SSD. If we think about it, many of the electronic devices on the market refer to a memory card for data storage, such as cameras / camcorders but also smartphones and tablets (to expand the memory). Over the years, the needs have become more specific, which has helped us to create product families designed for specific uses.
Here is the case of Samsung PRO Endurance, micro SDXC memory cards that carry in the name the main feature, or longevity and resistance to intense use. In the specific case Samsung indicates in the continuous writing the strong point of the new cards, with specific values for each cut that we report for convenience in the following table, along with other information.
The available capacities are of 128GB, 64GB and 32GB, with writings that can arrive in Full HD video mode respectively to 43800, 26280 and 17520 hours, or values almost 5 times higher than the ” endurance ” cards available on the market today. These are excellent scenarios for video surveillance, for example, even that made at 4K given the value of 30 MB/s in writing guaranteed (the reading is 100 MB/s).

Cards that do not point all on speed, given that there are much more performing, but on the resistance. Note how the warranty changes according to the cut: 5 years for the 128GB, 3 years for the 64GB and 2 years for the 32GB. There are no information regarding prices yet.
