SearchR – One app to search for files on the iPhone, Dropbox, Evernote and many other
SearchR allows you to look inside iPhone and various accounts of cloud sharing, facilitates the sharing of files across a large number of applications and services and speeds up common operations: it is free and you download from the iPhone App Store.
How many times did you need to have a picture, a file or a particular document and lose several minutes to look for it inside the iPhone, then moved to Dropbox and find out only at the end that was crammed in a subfolder of Google Drive? All this you can finally forget thanks to SearchR, a new application that combines all searches in one place.
Although we have found that 8 with the iOS Spotlight Apple is enhanced, it has nothing to do with searchR as the latter not only allows you to search quickly and simultaneously within Calendars, Reminders, and Contacts on the iPhone, but extends research also within the account Dropbox, Evernote and Google Drive.
Once allowed all access, just start typing the name of the file (or part of the content) that you want to try to see all the files that contain the word you typed into the iPhone and the services mentioned above. In addition to greatly simplify and speed up the search, the app also allows you to save a local copy or share it quickly via Message, Email, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Line, WeChat or open, if possible, in Safari or Chrome.
In addition, the quick keys allow you to copy or save it in buffer, Pocket, Instapaper, Evernote, Dropbox or load a copy of Google Drive, or open it directly in one of the applications installed on the device.
You can also perform fast searches on the App Store, Ebay, Google, Google Maps, IMDb, Maps, Spotify, Yelp, Youtube, Waze, WolframAlpha, Wikipedia and many other services, or you can share the text typed directly via SMS, email, email with Gmail, Tumblr, WhatsApp, WordPress, Buffer, Facebook, Twitter, or create a new note with Drafts and others.
It is therefore, not only useful for research, but also to speed most of the actions that we perform daily through the switch between multiple applications.
