Sennheiser CX SPORT, the wireless headphones for Sportsmen
Sennheiser has announced the CX SPORT, headphones explicitly intended for athletes and those who exercise. Pronounced bass and good autonomy are the main features of these headphones.
Sennheiser has launched the new CX SPORT wireless earphones, intended for exercise enthusiasts who want to enjoy their music even while they are moving. The well-known German brand then joins the list of producers who turn to this market and does so with headphones that attack the mid-range.
Designed for athletes, Sennheiser’s new CX SPORT in-ear headphones feature ergonomic lugs for added stability in the ear cavity. The length of the cable is adjustable thanks to the supplied clip and, together with the clip, can be fixed with stability on the user’s shirt.
Like many other sports products, the Sennheiser CX SPORT also have a cable that connects the two earphones and there are two plastic boxes, one of which has controls to control the playback of music and volume.
This headphones are designed to withstand even the most extreme activities, including splashes of water and sweat. Sturdy yet lightweight, they can also be connected to two devices via Bluetooth at the same time, while in terms of audio quality, they offer clear, detailed sound and a superior bass response.
The company claims to have calibrated the frequency response to meet the needs of sportsmen, who often prefer a more substantial bass response than an ideal neutrality.

Sennheiser CX SPORT are ergonomic and adapt perfectly to the ear thanks to four different sizes of earphones and the fins in three different sizes, which allow each to find the most suitable fit for himself by isolating himself from external noise and remaining focused on each movement.
They can be worn around the neck, front or back, by attaching them to the shirt using a small clip; the length of the wire is adjustable and the controls on the cable allow you to easily control the volume of music and calls.
The Sennheiser CX SPORT offers Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity with the apt-X codec and the built-in battery provides a range of around six hours. Sennheiser states that it takes ten minutes to recharge to obtain an autonomy of an hour, while the full recharge takes an hour and a half.
