Shuttle XH270 mini PC with space for 4 – 2.5-inch storage units
Within a volume of just 3 liters, Shuttle managed to find space for four 2.5-inch units and two additional M.2 units.
Shuttle has just launched a new Mini-PC that boasts the ability to implement 5 different storage units in a 3-liter chassis. Shuttle XPC slim Barebone XH270 is only 7.2 cm high, and in this case can accommodate four 2.5″ units with support for RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10, and an M.2 unit of U with lateral stabilizers allows all units to be securely mounted, with already prepared cables.
Shuttle XBC XH270 is based on the Intel H270 chipset, and can accommodate the latest Intel processors from the TDP maximum of 65W. On the motherboard, we also find two SO-DIMM slots for DDR4 memory of maximum 32 GB, and there are also two additional M.2 slots (one M.2-2280, the other M.2-2230), which can be completed with a WLAN module and an NVMe or Optane Memory SSD. The Mini-PC is also complete on the connectivity front.
Externally there are four USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0, one RS-232 port, audio ports, two Gigabit Ethernet, and HDMI ports, DisplayPort and VGA, all within a large chassis 24 x 20 x 7.2 cm. A 120W power supply is supplied as standard, which should guarantee full stability even with all components at full load. Optional accessories allow the system to be placed in the environment at its discretion.
Shuttle offers a base for vertical operation (PS01), a VESA mount for wall mounting or behind a monitor (PV02) and a WLAN / Bluetooth M.2 module with two antennas (WLN-M). The new Shuttle XPC slim Barebone XH270 is characterized by a metal chassis and is aimed at those who need an efficient computer both in space and consumption that can be used for a multitude of different purposes, both private and business.
