Owners of Galaxy Note 5 must be very careful when entering the S-Pen slot. It can just put it in the wrong way for potentially permanent damage to the phone.
Multiple sources are reporting a serious structural problem on the new Galaxy Note 5: inserting in the wrong direction the S-Pen into the fact you can disable its automatic detection permanently. The smartphone will no longer be able to perceive its removal, disabling some of the most interesting functions (for example: example the appearance of the automatic radial menu) for quick use.
The issue was dealt with on Android Police and ArsTechnica, sources that already have the device, as we already know, will not come quickly in our continent. In the second case, the reporter failed to restore the functionality of the pen moving the same when still inside the housing, not having a Galaxy Note 5 available. We do not know whether the operation always leads to desired results.
The problem becomes especially annoying because due to the very structure of the housing is all too easy to make the mistake. In the models of previous generations was very difficult (if not almost impossible) to enter the S-Pen in the wrong direction, an operation which unfortunately can only be realized on Galaxy Note 5 without giving a lot of strength and without noticing the error in time.
Failure is not the answer most ready of the Korean manufacturer, which is advising users to read the user manual of the device. Samsung responded to the first complaint that accompanied the event with the following words: ” We advise our member’s Galaxy Note 5 to follow the instructions in the manual so that the phenomenon does not occur due to the input of the S-Pen in the wrong direction. ”
Such a response to Apple approached the company, when in the past suggested that the iPhone 4 is not hooked signal properly because people were holding him wrong. The situation then was led in the antenna-gate, one of the more serious cases that the mobile division of Apple has faced in its history.
In the case of Samsung, we believe that the ” pen-gate ” is not a phenomenon so heavy, even if users are required to be alert to the direction in which the S-Pen will fit into place.
