A time to refer to the Sony mirrorless NEX home was enough to say, today the company officially decreed the end of that brand by presenting the A5000. It is in all respects by the heir of yet NEX-5 but now uses the Alpha brand.
The Sony A5000 is the smallest and read mirrorless Sony and presents some characteristics of the first order as the sensor and the 20MP APS HD Bionz processor X, already seen on A7/A7r, which also bears the sensitivity to ISO 16,000.
The body finally sees the flash, opening a popup on the left side, and a 3″ screen fully tilting upward to the self-shots. Inside are included Wi-Fi and NFC sharing with one-touch remote control, as well as the classic ecosystem PlayMemories Camera Apps for the addition of new features (some for a fee.)
The control structure has remained the same but the body is equipped as standard with a 16-50 compact, it is also present a lever to move the power zoom. FA is in contrast, of 25 areas, metering zones in 1200 and is based on the burst stops at 3.5 fps. Sony A5000 will have a retail price of about $600 kit with the 16-50 lens.
