TeamViewer comes to release 11: Increasingly multi-platform
Full support also Chrome OS of Google for the popular software for remote access to the systems, which offers many other advanced features without losing sight of the ease of use.
TeamViewer is one of the most-used software to manage remote administration systems, with a strong spread of devices that came in touch share 1 billion in the 10 years since the availability of the first release. 10 million downloads per month, up to 20 million devices connected with TeamViewer simultaneously and 200 million active users: these are the data of software that was born almost by accident, having been written by developers as a tool to show the capabilities a software package to which they were at work. That software has not been successful and that code written as a tool for the presentation has become a reference in the field.
In version 11 of TeamViewer, it has achieved an overall improvement in access speeds, which reduces the use of data that is said to be up to 30% compared to the previous version and a data transfer rate that can increase up to 15 times. It all helps to make it easier to connect to remote systems that are equipped with connectivity to the web reduced capacity. The company does not specify in each case the minimum requirements in terms of bandwidth and latency access to host systems, since the quality of the remote link is a function of a combination of factors.
One of the features in Release 11 of Teamviewer is linked to access to Android devices. Very important feature is thinking of several tablets based on this operating system, and with reference to the many devices running Android such as ATMs, vending machines and POS solutions digital signage.
There is the possibility of using TeamViewer even with Chrome OS operating system, which for the first time is supported in this software.
