The new firmware of January for Surface 3 and Surface Pro 3

  • Driver update I2S Audio Codec (v6.2.9600.527) improves sound quality with some applications.

The changes introduced with the new Surface Pro 3 firmware include :

  • Update Surface Pro Embedded Controller Firmware (v38.9.50.0) improves reliability system boot.
  • Update Surface Pro UEFI (v3.11.1150.0) adds support to the pen in UEFI menu and improves support for third-party keyboards onscreen.
  • Driver Update Surface Fingerprint sensor (v2.2.10.6) improves accuracy. driver update Wireless Network Controller and Bluetooth (v15.68.9037.59) improves compatibility with the access point and the 5 GHz band.
  • Driver Update 4331 HD Graphics Family (v20.19.15.4331) improves color calibration and system stability.
