What did not Apple tell us about the second generation Apple Pencil?
- Unlike the first generation, this Apple Pencil is sold without the spare tip. If you need to change your tip, the Cupertino company sells online and in the physical stores a pack of 4.
- The Apple Pencil wireless charging is not compatible with the classic wireless whiskers usually used to charge phones that support this technology. Positioning the Pencil on a wireless charging base will not happen anything because it can only be loaded through the iPad Pro 2018 magnet.
- Once paired, the second generation Apple Pencil will work normally for 10 minutes; after which, once it will remain inactive for 60 seconds and the iPad will be connected to the Internet, it will start downloading the firmware that will update the Pencil. This update will last two minutes in which the pen will not respond; after this period the Apple Pencil will resume normal operation.
