Two new versions, Gold and Platinum for smartwatch Gear S2 of Samsung
The Korean company proposes new sophisticated materials for their smartwatch presented in September 2015 at the IFA Berlin: platinum and gold, to meet the demands of a public that off to the shape and materials.
Two new versions of smartwatch Gear S2 Classic ones that Samsung announced at CES 2016 in Las Vegas today. The first model has Platinum finish, while the second uses one in 18 carat gold with pink color. For both the strap is leather, black and white for the Platinum model for the gold.
The two new versions thus extend the range of products Gear S2, with finishes featuring the most sought-after materials for the public more demanding and for this reason the price presumably higher than Gear S2 models already on the market.
We remember how at the IFA 2015 in Berlin last September, Samsung announced the first versions of their smartwatch Gear S2. This product is equipped with a display SuperAMOLED circular 1.2-inch with resolution 360×360 pixels and a density of 302 pixels per inch, combined with a dual-core processor with 4 GB of storage memory and 512 MB of RAM.
The operating system used is that Tizen, with compatibility with the Android smartphone operating system 4.4 forward and equipped with at least 1.5 Gbytes of system memory.
Connectivity is provided by a WiFi module, as well as an NFC chip that allows you to quickly connect to other devices. The presentation of the IFA Samsung announced two versions of Gear S2: the standard one with chest strap with silver white or gray case with strap of the same color.
Samsung for the Gear S2 Classic proposed instead a case of black with leather strap, with a design closer to that of traditional watches.
We did not expect significant announcements of new models smartwatch at CES 2016 by Samsung, and this is confirmed by the two new ecosystem Gear S2. Will presumably be the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, at the end of February, has been chosen to present the most significant changes from the side smartwatch well as the range of smartphone Korean company.
