WhatsApp is undoubtedly the most widely used messaging platform in the world. A proven system that users, both new and old, know very well and use equally well. Over the years, there have been many new features between more or less comfortable features but somehow have decreed this messaging system among the most used and among the most appreciated by the mobile community.

This is just the first news coming on WhatsApp. It will indeed be possible very soon to place an order on the list of one’s contacts. In this case, as with Telegram, it will be possible to place the most used in conversations at the top of the list so that they are always at hand. At the moment, we know how the messaging system allows to have on one side the alphabetical order and on the other the section with the various conversations that are placed in chronological order based on the last messages received.

In this case, with this new feature, it will be possible to have the list of favorite contacts on top. A function that will allow users to always have contacts quickly at hand and without having to decide which ones to move to the top of the list.

Another new feature is the so-called ” Dark mode “. It has been rumored for some time to be able to use chats with a dark background and now it seems that developers are getting closer to its introduction. The novelty of being able to set a different theme from the classic and default one certainly could be very interesting for those who want to make their chats customized to the maximum.

In this case, the user could have the possibility to select four different options in the settings: Night, Night Blue, Day Classic and Day. In practice a bit like what happens with Telegram, which allows you to choose on the app for iOS or for Android one of the four themes with the same tonality.

The exchange of contact information via QR Code is also coming. In this case, here is the possibility to create a QR Code for your profile to share with other users directly in the app. This is a novelty already announced but not yet arrived on iOS, and it seems that something is also moving for the operating system of the green robot.

The screen with its unique QR Code, ready for sharing will offer the phone number to the other party, so it is a sensitive operation even if the QR Code can be revoked at any time and replaced with a new one.

Many new features that are still under development, but that will surely bring benefits to users in the daily use of the platform on both iOS and Android. In this case, it is clearly not clear when they will be released in public as they are currently released only for Beta versions. It has been talked about for a very long time, and it is possible that the developers decide to introduce them soon, even in the official channels.
