The Chinese company tries and presents its first true wireless headphones ready to counter the monopoly of Apple’s AirPods. White, small and with a charging case. Here they are.
Xiaomi Mi AirDots are the new Chinese company headphones ready to compete with Apple AirPods. A task perhaps a bit ‘too exaggerated, but their design, their technology but also the presence of a rechargeable case does not think about all this.
The new headphones are wireless headphones, that is completely wireless, ready to be connected via Bluetooth to the smartphone to listen to music but also to make calls.
Like AirPods are AirDots also equipped with a small touch-sensitive area and with the possibility of having the control of music or even of calls directly on the headset without having to remove the smartphone. Not only because headphones can also activate the voice assistant and directly answer calls with a touch.
White, the new AirDots, are equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 connection that will allow greater stability for the connection but also a better use of energy resources with a saving in this regard both for the same headphones and the device to which they will be connected.
As for the battery, the company declares an autonomy of 4 hours of use in stereo mode, while for a single headset, it will be possible to obtain up to 5 hours. Moreover, the presence of the case only ensures that users can place the headphones in it and automatically recharge them by extending the autonomy for another 12 hours.
The weight of the AirDots is 4.2 grams and have 7.2 mm driver inside that allows, according to the company, a high fidelity both in the reproduction of the pieces and in the qualitative sound level with deep bass even if, remember, there are no technologies such as noise cancellation.
As always, for Xiaomi products the strong point is the price. Here the AirDots are proposed, at the moment only in China, at a price of 199 yuan.
