Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A: 16 MP selfie, MIUI9, low price
Xiaomi has announced the new Redmi Note 5A smartphone, a low-end device with a front camera capable of shooting 16 MP shots.
Xiaomi Redmi Notes 5A has been officially released over the last few hours, and is another low-priced Chinese device, oriented to selfie lovers who want to spend as little as possible to get quality self-timers.
The new smartphone implements a design that does not differ much from the Redmi family’s stylistic cannons, and comes in two different variations, including only the one at the top of the range, with the 16MP front camera. But let’s go with order.
The base version uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, while the ” top ” can have both 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Both models have expandable storage with dedicated slot and a rear 13 MP camera with f/2.2 lens, PDAF auto-focus and a flash LED. The basic version incorporates a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 lens, while the 3 and 4GB models use the 16MP camera.
This is combined with a ” soft light ” flash for portraits and a f/2.0 lens with a wide viewing range of 78.4 ° and software capabilities to make ” the most beautiful ” people in real time, so even during the video calls. Both front-panel modules can record video at Full HD (1080p) resolution at 30 fps. The display is in any case a 5.5-inch LCD (450nit) HD resolution (720p) with 70% gamut on the NTSC standard.
All this is powered by a 3,080 mAh battery, crammed inside a shell available in champagne gold, rose gold and platinum silver gray colors. Finally, we find the MIUI 9, the latest version of the proprietary ROM based on Android 7.0 Nougat. But of course it is the price to make this product very interesting: Redmi Notes 5A is available in China.
