YOGA Table 3 Pro 10: Tablet with integrated projector from Lenovo
The Chinese giant has a new Android tablet with very specific characteristics, from a projector integrated in the frame to get the Atom SoC quad-core 2.24 GHz under the frame.
At IFA Berlin Lenovo introduces three new Android tablet Series YOGA Tab two of them at the entry-level market and one designed for users demanding thanks to a series of special features and so far unique.
We start talking about YOGA Tab 3 8″ and YOGA Tab 3 10″ who use a SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 212, based on Cortex A7 quad core 1.3 GHz and Adreno GPU 304. For both devices 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of space storage, expandable via MicroSD slot.
Despite the different form factor, 8 and 10 inches as suggested by the model name, both tablets exploit a resolution of 1,280 x 800 on the LCD screen with IPS technology, which should therefore ensure good color rendering and a wide viewing angle. Finally, battery 23.56Wh for the 8-inch model and 33.06Wh for the 10-inch model.
Rather unusual is instead YOGA Tab 3 Pro 10, which contains within it an Intel Atom Z8500 x5-quad-core 2.24 GHz. This is the first SoC Atom built with 14nm production process and the first Android tablet to make use of this SoC. Present also 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage space, again expandable via MicroSD card.
The 10.1-inch screen uses an IPS panel with a native resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and is not the only way in which the tablet allows the visualization of content: Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro 10″ includes also a small projector capable to reproduce images up to 70 inches in size at a luminance of 70nits. Of note also the presence of a battery from well 38.76Wh which should ensure autonomous operation for about 18 hours.
Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8″ will be marketed from October at a price of 199 euros for the WiFi version and 249 Euro for the LTE version. YOGA Tab 3 10″ will be available from November at a price of 299 euros for the WiFi version and 340 Euro for the LTE version. Finally YOGA Tab 3 Pro will also be available from November at a price of 499 Euro.
